Helper

The first face players see.

Helpers answer questions in game and on Discord, work the support queue, and pass anything serious to a moderator. It is the entry rank, and where most of our staff started.

  • Answer player questions in chat and in tickets

Moderator

Keep the network fair.

Moderators investigate reports, hand out punishments, rule on appeals and guide Helpers. You are expected to use judgement and to explain your decisions.

Builder

Builders create spawns, hubs, arenas and event maps. You need a portfolio we can open, and an eye for what stays smooth on a busy server.

Developers build and maintain the plugins that run Red Network. We run Paper and Folia, so thread safety matters, and we read code before we read CVs.

How it works

    Sign in with Discord so we know who you are.

    Four short steps. Your draft saves as you go.

    Every application is read in a private Discord channel.

    We message you either way, and the status page updates.

Before you apply

  • You are at least 15 years old.
  • You have a Discord account and a Minecraft account you can name.
  • You can give a few hours a week to the role.
  • You will be honest about past punishments, on this server or any other.
  • You have read the Red Network rules.

Good to know

  • One open application per position. After a denial, wait 14 days before applying for that position again.
  • Copied or invented answers are denied.
  • Management decides, and you hear back by Discord DM and on your status page. If you are accepted, we open a private channel with you there.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do I need a Discord account?+

Yes. Logging in with Discord tells us who applied and lets us message you the result.

How old do I have to be?+

You need to be at least 15. Applicants under 16 are reviewed by management before anyone else.

Can I apply for more than one role?+

Yes, one application per position at a time. If you want to switch roles, withdraw the open one first or wait for a decision.

What happens if I am denied?+

You will see the reason on your status page. You can apply for the same position again after 14 days. Other positions are not affected.

Does a past ban count against me?+

Not by itself. We ask because staff need to be straight with us. Leaving a ban out is much worse than having one.

Can I edit an application after sending it?+

No, but you can withdraw it and apply again. Your answers are saved as a draft on your device while you fill the form in, so you can leave and come back.
